The Carpenter Family
Justin and I moved to Nevada in August 2005. We love it here. However we miss our family and friends back home. Our church here is great! We have been married for 7 years. We have one Daughter, Isabella who was born Oct 19 2006 and a son Caleb due in Feb of 2009! This blog is for our Family and Friends to catch up on how we are doing. What a great invention!

21 Weeks Prego!

Well I tried to get my face in the picture but the one with it I didn't like! Sorry Jess! This is 21 weeks pregnant. I am finally over half way done. My 2nd trimester has gone so much better than my 1st went. No sickness really and I can eat almost anything without getting squeamish. Isabella moves on a consistant bases and I can feel her and see her move on the outside! Justin has felt some pretty strong kicks too. It's so amazing to see and feel her. She is about 10 inches long and almost weighs 1lb.

Isabella's First Dress
Her 1st dress! Justin was so excited after he found out we were having a girl, he just had to buy her her 1st dress, for EASTER! It is really cute and she will look so adorable in it. I can't wait to see her wear it! He spent more money then he should or could have on this dress but sometimes you just have to splurge to look great in fashion! She will learn early!
Here is a picture of her carseat and stroller. I want to have it put in my car already but I am resisting! How tiny they always look when they are first placed in the carseat. I would show you a picture of the stroller except it has a bunch of her clothes and stuff in it. We need to get her furniture in there once we decide what it is we are getting. Her room is a little messy right now!

Birthing Class

This weekend Nora visited the VonEschens and also came to teach the Birthing class, Bradley Method. It was great! We had our friends Bryan and Laura and Adam and Rebecca along with Kurt and Mary and Justin and I all in Mary's front room learning oh so much information! It was a lot of fun and very helpful. We all have so much work ahead of us, even the guys. They are our working, relaxed, supportive right arm during labor. They will all do so great. Even if they think they won't be there! :) It's so great to share this process and knowledge with everyone. I do feel extra lucky being the last one to "pop" so not only do I get the knowledge from Nora's class and Mary's previous experience but I get to know how the other two do with it as well and things that worked for them or didn't work. I got so excited as I am sure Justin did knowing that we are half way done and are learning how to bring our little girl into this world in a calm and relaxed fashion. We all had our concerns and questions and worries for labor, but I know that we are all going to do great and will get our babies safely here for everyone to love. Three little girls and one little boy! He will have his pick of the litter!
The guys decided before hand on Friday night that they would "dress up" for us. They think they are so funny! We did as well but then wanted them to change! Our husbands don't lack a sense of humor that's for sure!
