The Carpenter Family

Justin and I moved to Nevada in August 2005. We love it here. However we miss our family and friends back home. Our church here is great! We have been married for 7 years. We have one Daughter, Isabella who was born Oct 19 2006 and a son Caleb due in Feb of 2009! This blog is for our Family and Friends to catch up on how we are doing. What a great invention!

    One Month Old

Bella turned one month on Sunday the 19th. One month has gone by already. Some days it's hard to believe and others it seems about right or too little time :)! She had her one month appt today. She has grown so much! She is now 9lbs 3oz, 21 1/2 inches long, and her head is 14.7 inches! I couldn't believe it! I am so proud of her! She is an amazing baby. I love it when she recognizes my voice. And when I talk to her she will smile! I was supposed to get pictures taken today of her but I had to cancel. I will probably have to do it on a weekend so maybe when she is 6 weeks. Her 1st Thanksgiving is coming up here and we are so excited to be going home! So many of his family hasn't seen her yet including Grandpa! Who doesn't know we are coming! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and enjoy your families!

    Not much!

Bella is almost 4 weeks old! We can't believe it! It has been a long 3 and half weeks but it's been wonderful. We are adjusting to less sleep and her noises she likes to make. She is growing so much. I can't wait till her one month apt next Monday to find out how much she has grown. She is starting to get those cute little baby rolls on her upper thighs. He little wrists are just as tiny but they have fat under them now! Her hair is growing in and getting a little darker. We just got through 3 weeks of non stop vistors and family. Justin's mom was here and gave us a little break in the sleep deprivation when she would take Bella and put her to sleep or stay awake with her in the early morning hours. My mom and sister and Dad were here as well so they got to see their 1st grandchild. Then John and Jess were here as well although we didn't get to spend very much time with them since my family was in town at the same time. We miss them! The time we did get to spend was so much fun! 20 years from now we will still probably be getting together and playing Nertz and making up stupid noises and songs and the guys will be playing RISK or video games! Kenzie also just moved here too! She has been here almost a week. She is already making friends, I guess MySpace helps with that when you meet people before you even move here! All is well we can't wait to be home for the Holidays!
